1. Overview

This privacy policy explains how personal data is handled when you use the GraphiSpot Pricing Calculator. The term “personal data” covers all data that can be used to personally identify you.

This tool is a non-binding cost estimator. Calculation inputs and the PDF export are processed in your browser. There are no user accounts and no server-side storage of your calculation data.

3. What data we process

This calculator processes data primarily in your browser:

• Company information you enter (name, city, contact, e-mail) is stored only in the browser’s sessionStorage for the duration of your session and is not transmitted to GraphiSpot for storage.
• Your language and theme preferences are saved in localStorage on your device so the interface can restore them on your next visit.
• The PDF export is generated entirely in your browser. The calculation content does not leave your device for PDF generation.
• This calculator does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.
• When you load the calculator, your browser requests the pages and assets from our hosting provider. In doing so, technical data such as IP address, browser type, and time of access may be processed in server logs solely to deliver and secure the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Legal basis

Providing the calculator is based on our legitimate interest in offering a working estimation tool (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where you voluntarily enter personal details in the form, processing of those entries in your browser is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where applicable, on steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. Storage duration

Session data in sessionStorage is removed when you close the tab or clear site data. Preferences in localStorage remain until you delete them or clear browser storage. Technical server logs are retained only as long as needed for operation and security, unless a longer statutory retention period applies.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing (Arts. 15–21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because calculator inputs are stored locally in your browser, you can delete them yourself by clearing site storage or closing the tab.

Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21(1) GDPR).

7. SSL / TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” in the address bar and the lock icon in your browser.

8. Rejection of unsolicited e-mails

We object to the use of contact details published under the imprint obligation for sending unsolicited advertising or information material. The operators reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited promotional messages.
